The Ploughman’s platter is a traditional British lunch and pairs perfectly with our Grain Batard. Place all the ingredients on a large platter and build your own sandwiches.
Ingredients
- 4 free range eggs
- 4 radishes
- 1 apple
- 1 loaf Cottage Lane Grain Batard, cut into thick slices
- 1 block aged cheddar cheese
- ½ cup pickled cocktail onions
- ½ cup cornichons
- 2 cups rocket
- 400g champagne ham
Condiments:
- Salted butter
- English mustard
- Fruit chutney
- Mustard pickle
To boil the eggs, bring a small pot of water to a boil. Gently lower the eggs into the water and cook for 7 minutes. Immediately transfer the eggs to a bowl full of ice water and leave to cool completely before peeling and cutting in half.
Slice the radishes and apple.
Arrange all the ingredients and condiments on a large wooden board & build your own sandwiches.
