The Ploughman’s platter is a traditional British lunch and pairs perfectly with our Grain Batard. Place all the ingredients on a large platter and build your own sandwiches.

Ingredients

  • 4 free range eggs
  • 4 radishes
  • 1 apple
  • 1 loaf Cottage Lane Grain Batard, cut into thick slices
  • 1 block aged cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup pickled cocktail onions
  • ½ cup cornichons
  • 2 cups rocket
  • 400g champagne ham

Condiments:

  • Salted butter

  • Fruit chutney
  • Mustard pickle

To boil the eggs, bring a small pot of water to a boil. Gently lower the eggs into the water and cook for 7 minutes. Immediately transfer the eggs to a bowl full of ice water and leave to cool completely before peeling and cutting in half.

Slice the radishes and apple.

Arrange all the ingredients and condiments on a large wooden board & build your own sandwiches.
